How to Order a Commissioned Painting: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Conceptualize Your Vision: Review our portfolio for inspiration and decide on the type of painting you desire, such as a portrait, pet portrait, or custom work.
2. Complete the Order Form: Click here to fill out the commission quote request form.
3. Receive an Estimated Quote: You will receive an estimated quote for the painting within approximately one week.
4. Approve the Estimate and Pay the Sketch Fee: If you accept the estimate, deposit a $150 sketch fee. The artist will create an initial sketch in oil to finalize the concept. Any major adjustments, such as changes in size or composition, can be made at this stage.
5. Approve the Sketch and Commence Production: Once you approve the sketch, the artist will begin the production process, which typically takes 25-30 days. A non-refundable down payment of 50% of the total estimate is required at this point.
6. Review Final Touches: The artist will consult with you during the final stages of the painting to make any minor adjustments, such as changes in expressions or hair color.
7. Approve the Final Painting: Once the painting is complete, you can choose one of the three available frames (optional) to complement your artwork.
8. Complete Payment and Receive Your Painting: Pay the remaining balance in full. Your painting will be shipped via UPS, and a tracking link will be provided to monitor its delivery.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly commission a unique and personalized painting tailored to your vision.
